So I realised I haven't posted in a while (understatement of the century) so I thought I would upload some pics of what I have been up to in my absence, ya know, just incase anyone was wondering.

I am currently taking in my last day of freedom (which was actually cut short by coming back to my hostel), and and looking at the photos of the holiday that has just flown by. Here they are... The first week was spent in beautiful Wanaka. Here we went to for walk through Sticky Forest, and it led us to some amazing blue pools. The water was clear enough that you could see the trout at the bottom. I also got to catch up with my friend Alice and it was so good to see her. Yet the majority of our trip was spent biking, biking, and more biking. For my beautiful Mum's birthday we ate brunch at River stone restaurant in Omaru and tiki toured around the place. One of the buildings we entered was the Steam Punk museum. We wove through the rusted art pieces and entered another room filled with lights and reflections. Yesterday I had a running then bike race and both were SO HARD. I lost count of the times I fell off my bike as it slipped through the mud. Yet it felt more rewarding when I finished the course considering how challenging it was.
Hope you all had a great holiday and have a great term. Ta ta Brianna xx |
